Carl Gordon Museum

CMA shared the opportunity to honor Theresa Harlan at her farewell reception/exhibit at the University of Davis' Carl Gorman Museum in November 2000. Family and friends, including Native American and Latino Artists, celebrated her contributions and wished her further success at the California Arts Council.

California State Capitol

Simona Hernandez and Mareia de Socorro exhibited together at the California State Capitol 6th Floor Cafe/Gallery in 1996.

Senator Deborah Ortiz is a major supporter of Sacramento's Arts community. From the Sacramento City Council, to the California Assembly, and now in the California Senate; Senator Ortiz has exhibited Chicano art in her own offices and worked with local arts organizations on special projects.

Elizebeth O'Brien and David Bischoff (pictured right) have curated several art exhibits at the California State University of Sacramento and other prominent California library galleries.

Elizebeth has been the Slide Curator for the CSUS Media Center. David is the Chair of Fine and Performing Arts at Jesuit High School. David has been a dedicated collector of Art (with a specility of Chicano art) for several decades.
